He has published
more than 100 peer-reviewed academic papers in geology and paleontology,
independently published 2 monographs geology and paleontology in English,
co-published 1 monograph in Chinese on paleontology and paleoecology of the
Ordovician carbonates in the Tarim basin, published 1 academic paper in core
journals of economic theory, and published 24 current review articles in newspaper
Science Times. He has presided over more than 20 scientific research projects
such as National Natural Science Foundation projects and Major Special Projects
of the Ministry of Science and Technology, with a total fund of more than 10
million yuan. In 2009, he won the highest honor award of the Paleontological
Society of China, "Yin Zanxun Stratigraphic and Paleontological
Award". He supervised a total of more than 10 master students, doctoral
